The Chicken feet don't look like the pictures you linked too. They look normal, no swelling no scales etc. Just the toes keep getting shorter and shorter. I wonder if I can find my old post...

Chicken feet are still the same. I had posted 2 times on backyard chicken forums last spring. And I searched through the archives...nothing. I'm sticking with the iodine spray until I can run into someone who knows something more.

Huckleberries grow anywhere in the woods where I am. I'm in ID, I think around 4500ft. We don't have to worry about elevation. The Huckleberries were small this year. Maybe yours will be bigger.

The bookcase looks terrific... you have a talented man there.

I haven't picked huckles this year... I will be up at the mountain later this week; maybe I'll be able to get some then. What elevation do yours grow at?

Oh my, receding feet sounds awful... though I have no idea what it is. Have you looked on the backyard chicken forum... I found this link:

Maybe it is the same thing. Please, keep me posted:)

Hi Heather,

I didn't see that dragonfly when I took the picture but I wasn't surprised. They are thick like flies. For some reason they like the corn and the onions patches the best.

Hi Henny,
That pic with the dragon fly it too cool... did you notice it before you took the photo or was it a surprise?

And you pumpkins... whoa, very nice. It has been a good year for my squash too... lots of big green leaves, but it does make it hard to see what you have.

I am watching my corn like a pot of boiling water; any day now:)

Take care!
