Haha just want to post a failed attempt at the banana pancakes for all the parents with kids who either didn’t succeed at it or who are feeling like how on earth did the 4yrs old manage it 🤣🤣 if your little couldn’t figure it out you’re not alone !! My 7 and 4 just made barely edible pancakes 🥲. Even with tons of syrup neither wanted seconds haha

I’m thinking the kiddos who did well had a lot of parental help or have been cooking a lot before.

Few things:
* Make sure you use self rising flour or pre address the situation of making your all purpose equivalent to self rising
* if you don’t have mature bananas make sure you add sugar 😖
* if your kid is rush rush rush kid be prepared to be super involved 🤣🤣 especially if they haven’t cooked much before
* I found the instructions on how to scoop and measure in things is not detailed enough. Doesn’t provide enough guidance for kiddos who hacen measured before. Eg. my kid either wanted to haven over-heaping cup or not full cup 😬
* all in all it was an interesting experience but having made pancakes every weekend for a while I found the lack of details on what to watch out for in measurements really made it hard for my kiddos.
* also worth talking to kids of when you’re at the stove make sure you keep an eye out and stay focused 😬 excitement def contributed to some burnt pancakes lol
* I’ll probably show them the steps with my recipe/measuring insights a couple weeeknds before they have another go at running solo so again.

I was wondering how those cards work! Thank you for showing that they don't really 😜. Never heard of anyone learning to cook by listening and not seeing.
