Today I am taking my 3.5 year old on a very long car journey. 5-7 hrs. (UK).He probably wont sleep much of it. We only have the big Yoto. I was wondering whether playing some yoto stories through my phone is going to use all my data allowance. I have 4GB a month and I rarely use more than 2GB. So my question: About how many minutes of yoto audio do you think I can get in about 2GB data? Sorry thats maybe a complex question but you guys out there seem so tech savvy compared to me! (We have the gruffalo collection, topsie and tim, first fairy tales and a few MYO for context). Do the radio channels make a difference to he data? Many thanks!
Personally, I'd take the big yoto. Am sure your son will prefer to control what's playing himself. You can put the seatbelt through the handle if you're worried about it flying around in a crash. Obviously doesn't completely mitigate the chances but you can't eliminate them all.
There are lots of podcasts that read aloud children’s books. All else failing, download your favorites before you go. Just search the titles on Spotify or wherever you listen
As above, I'd recommend downloading anything you can to your phone before you go (if you have any MYOs that you've saved the original audio for) because it will use quite a bit of data if you intend to stream for the majority of your journey (not sure how much, sorry)
Am I being daft... if they are in here, are they already downloaded, (i thought they just stream from here?) Is there a way to download the stories onto my phone or do you need separate mp3 files deon somewhere else? X
