I've been attempting to make labels for MYO cards by printing a template on my inkjet printer, but my printer is just awful and needs replacing. If I am going to buy a new color inkjet printer and want to print on Vinyl sticky paper, do I need a higher quality one (like HP Envy, for example) or is a basic printer (like HP DeskJet) good enough? For those of you who chose to print labels this way, do you have a printer recommendation? I'm based in US, if it matters.

I'm also wondering how easy it would be to just take my own sticky paper to Staples and have them print the document for me. This has been so frustrating for me and my husband already thinks I've put way too much time into it, lol.

I haven't tried printing on Vinyl yet, but from what I've seen the benefit of things like the Envy is being able to print one sticker at a time. I think the colours come out better, and last longer from normal printers but I'm stuck waiting until I need ~8 stickers before it's worthwhile me printing them.

Staples won’t print them because of copyright infringement, but you can use their printer with your paper, and they turn out beautifully for $.62! Trust me, I know 😜
