Does your car have an aux cable point (double ended headphone jack)? We use that to play the yoto through the car using the cards already downloaded on the player. Sadly playing anything from phone in yoto app does use data

2gb is more than enough for a long journey. So I work from home and I have hot spotted my phone for a week and it didn’t use 1gb.

When I work from home too I have Spotify running off my laptop too 🙂
