I'm not sure where you live, but it's likely going to be the middle of the night for the east coast as well.

I think it’s because they’re a U.K. company so employees are probably working on U.K. time.

Not sure about in the UK, but in the US there are people who buy up all the limited stock items and resell them at an upcharge 😕
I refuse to buy from them but lots of people do.
